O R D E R

% 26.09.2018 The petitioner seeks parole for maintaining social ties, family relations and to curb inner stress and depression. He is undergoing life imprisonment. He has been incarcerated for 7 years 10 months and 26 days as of 07.09.2018 and earned remission of 8 months 25 days. His conduct in the jail is stated to be satisfactory. His address in the petition as well as the Nominal Roll is at House No. C-715, Gali No. 17, Rajeev Vihar, Sri Ram Colony, Kachi Khajori, Usmanpur, Delhi.

The learned Standing Counsel for the State refers to the Status Report dated 22.09.2018, handed over to the Court, according to which, the address of the petitioner's family, with whom the petitioner resides, has been verified as C-28 in the same area and not at C-715, as mentioned hereinabove.

In view of the above, the Court finds no impediment in allowing the present petition. Consequently, the petitioner is granted parole for a period of five weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 5,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned subject to the following conditions:- (1) The petitioner shall report to the SHO, concerned Police Station, New Usman Pur, once a week, on every Tuesday during the period of parole.

(2) He shall furnish his telephone number to the SHO concerned, which the petitioner shall keep operational at all times (3) He shall not leave the territory of NCT of Delhi. (4) The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.

A copy of this order be delivered upon the Jail Superintendent concerned through the State.
