CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 27.09.2018 It is submitted that petitioner nos.2 and 3and respondent no.2 are neighbours.
A quarrel took place between petitioners and respondent no.2 on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 320/2013 under Sections 354A/323/509/34 IPC at police station Ranhola on the complaint of respondent no.2.
It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos.2 and 3 have now settled their disputes amicably vide Settlement Deed dated 30th July, 2018, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed. Respondent nos.2 and 3 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Azad Singh of police station Ranhola. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case the aforesaid FIR
is quashed against the petitioners.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondents voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J SEPTEMBER 27, 2018 sm
