O R D E R

% 30.08.2017 On the complaint of respondent No. 2, FIR No. 205/15 under Sections 279/337 IPC was registered at Police Station Sun Light Colony. It is submitted that offence under Section 337 IPC was converted to offence under Section 338 IPC in view of the medical report. It is further submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably and pursuant thereof offence under Section 338 has been permitted to be compounded by the Metropolitan Magistrate-07, South East District, Delhi vide order dated 27.07.2016 (Annexure P-3). It is prayed that offence under Section 279 may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ram Kishan of Police Station Sun Light Colony. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and he has no objection in case FIR is quashed for the offence under Section 279 IPC. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR for the offence under Section 279 IPC registered at Police Station Sun Light Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications stand disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
