By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that his daughter is suffering from Dengue and is hospitalized. 2.

On a notice being issued, a status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report, it has been verified that the petitioner's eldest daughter Vasundhara aged 18 years is suffering from Dengue and is hospitalized. The family of the petitioner consists of his mother-in-law and three children. Thus there is no one to attend the daughter except the mother-in-law of the petitioner. As per the nominal roll, interim suspension of sentence was granted during the pendency of the appeal when the petitioner surrendered in time and there is no allegation of misusing the said concession.

Considering the facts verified, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹15,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Mandoli Jail. 4.

Petition is disposed of.
