The petitioner has filed the present petition praying inter alia for issuance of directions to the respondents-CRPF to pay him the revised pension benefits w.e.f. 1st January, 2006 in terms of the notification dated 30th July, 2015 issued by the Department of Personnel & Training, pertaining to revision of pension of pre-2006 pensioners.

Notice was issued in the present petition on 28th July, 2017 on which date learned counsel for the respondents appeared on advance notice and was granted time to file a counter affidavit.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that during the pendency of the present petition, the respondents issued a letter dated 15th September, 2017 to Pay and Accounts Office of the respondents, revising the retiral pension of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that a W.P.(C) 6393/2017 Page No.1 of 2
copy of the aforesaid document has been placed by him alongwith C.M. No.39222/2017. He states that the petitioner is satisfied with the aforesaid document, but only requests that the respondents may directed to disburse the revised pension to the petitioner through State Bank of India in terms of the details furnished in C.M. No.39222/2017.

Learned counsel states that such a representation has already been submitted to Pay and Accounts Office of the CRPF by letter dated 6th October, 2017. Copy of the letter has been enclosed with the captioned application. 6.
In view of the aforesaid development, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition. The respondents shall ensure that the revised pension of the petitioner is disbursed to him through the Bank and Branch named above.
