3. The present application under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the appellant seeking reduction of fine amount and extension of time for depositing the same.

Vide order dated 18.09.2025, this Court partly allowed the appeal and modified the substantive sentence imposed upon the appellant to the period already undergone, subject to the appellant depositing the fine amount within a period of four weeks, failing which he would serve his default sentence.

5. Though the learned counsel for the appellant has sought a further period of 10 days to deposit the fine amount, it is seen from the record that more than sufficient time has already been granted to him.

6. Hence, the appellant is given a period of only two days from today to deposit the fine amount and produce the receipt before the Station House Officer concerned, failing which he shall serve the default sentence.

7. With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of.
