O R D E R

% 05.09.2017 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C filed on behalf of the petitioner for grant of parole for a period of four weeks for filing SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that presently the petitioner is lodged in Jail No.3, Central Jail, Tihar, Delhi and he wants to file SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court against his conviction and sentence and prays that the petitioner may be released on parole or a period of four weeks.

Status report has been filed by the State and the same has been perused. Learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State submits that since there is no local address of the petitioner, some conditions may be put on

him to ensure his presence in jail after expiry of the parole period. In these circumstances, since the petitioner is in jail and he wants to file SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court against his conviction and sentence and the conduct of the petitioner is stated to be good in jail, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release, on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent with the condition that he shall report to the concerned local Police Station at Bihar once a week. On expiry of the parole period, the petitioner shall surrender forthwith before the concerned Jail Superintendent, who shall submit a report to this Court to this effect. The present petition is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti, as prayed and copy thereof may also be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for information and compliance.
