O R D E R

% 28.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.

513/01 under Sections 380/420/468/471 IPC registered at police station Lajpat Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2 may be quashed. It is further submitted that petitioner was an employee of respondent no.2. It was alleged in the FIR by the respondent no.2 that petitioner had stolen some of the cheques of the company and encashed `25,000/- on 3rd July, 2001. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Deepak Kumar of police station Lajpat Nagar. He admits having settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force,

pressure or coercion. In terms of the settlement, petitioner has paid `25,000/- to the respondent no.2 today in Court. Respondent no.2 submits that with this payment, entire settled amount, that is, `75,000/- stands paid. He further submits that petitioner would be at liberty to withdraw the amount deposited by him before the trial court. He submits that he is not interested in pursuing the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 513/2001 under Sections 380/420/468/471 IPC registered at police station Lajpat Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
