CRL.M.C. 4713/2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.512/2016, under Sections 323/308/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Saket, New Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and the

respondents No.3 & 4/complainant/injured are the friends and residing in the nearby locality. Learned counsel for the petitioners has further submitted that due to misunderstanding arisen between the parties, a quarrel had taken place between the parties, resulting into registration of an FIR No.512/2016, under Sections 323/308/34 IPC, at Police Station Saket, New Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom.

Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and close friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and further submitted that since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between the parties and prays that the aforesaid FIR, which is coming as a hurdle in maintaining peace and harmony between the parties, may be quashed.

The respondents No.3 & 4/complainant & injured are present in Court today and have been identified by the Investigating Officer Sub Inspector Durga Das and their counsel. Both the injured and the complainant admit that they have amicably settled the matter with the petitioners out of their sweet and free will and without any force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they all are friends and reside in the same nearby locality and have no objection if the FIR is quashed to promote good relations and better future of the parties.

Looking into the facts and circumstances of the case, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties, to have peace and harmony and better future relationship between the parties, to meet the ends of justice, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No.512/2016, under Sections 323/308/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Saket, New Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom. The present petition

is disposed of accordingly.
