W.P.(C) 11926/2016 Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the statutory bodies. It is stated that illegal and unauthorized construction is being permitted at property bearing no.1488, Pataudi House, Darya Ganj, Delhi. This is against the bye-laws of the Corporation. Petitioner states that he is a tenant in the aforenoted property and is in occupation of a portion of the ground floor.

On advance notice, learned counsels for respondents have put

in appearance. Learned counsel for respondent no.1 under instructions from his client submits that the property already stands booked on 05.11.2016 and a work stop notice has been issued on 16.11.2016. It is stated that all actions in accordance with law shall be completed. This statement of the respondent is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that this statement shall be honoured in true letter and spirit in accordance with law and the assistance of respondent no.2/police if require may also be taken. No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
