The present writ petition is filed complaining of non-compliance of the order of the Court in W.P.(C) 1001/2017, which was disposed with directions on 03.05.2017.

The Court had directed to remit the amount to the petitioner. Due to the omission by the respondents to comply with that order, they have again approached this Court by filing the present petition. 3.

In the compliance affidavit filed by the respondents, it is pointed out at the inception that by an order dated 25.08.2017, contempt proceedings were initiated. It has also been brought to the notice of the Court that the respondents had approached the Supreme Court, which by an order dated

21.08.2017, directed the petition to be listed on 25.08.2017. On that date, the Supreme Court required this Court to defer the contempt proceedings. That position has continued. The compliance affidavit further states that a sum of ₹14,83,879/- was remitted to the petitioner in compliance of the order in the earlier writ petition but subject to the outcome of the final proceedings in the Special Leave Petition.

In the circumstances, the Court is of the opinion that no further order is required. The parties shall be bound by the final order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
