% 27.07.2017 Crl. M.A. No. 11968/2017 (exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of. CRL.M.C. No. 2884/2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR No. 531/2014 under Sections 354/323/506 IPC registered at Police Station South Rohini may be quashed. Petitioner no. 2, namely, Prince Jamwal, is brother-in-law (jija) of the respondent no.
2. It is submitted that sister of the respondent no. 2 had also lodged an FIR
under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC, wherein petitioner no. 2 and sister of the respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Counselling Cell, Family Court (North - West), Rohini, Delhi. In order to put a quietus to all the disputes, respondent no. 2 has also settled the disputes with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court alongwith her counsel and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. She says that she has no objection if FIR is quashed. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as narrated above, more particularly the fact that settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 531/2014 under Sections 354/323/506 IPC registered at Police Station South Rohini and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
