CRL.M.C. 152/2017 1.

Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to seek directions to the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial in C.C.No.206/1/2012.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and have examined the file.

Only prayer sought by the petitioner is to expedite the trial. Record reveals that the above referred case is listed before the learned Trial Court since long and no material progress has been made so far. CRL.M.C. 152/2017

In the interest of justice, the Trial Court can be requested to expedite the trial of the above referred case at the earliest preferably within one year.

In view of the above observations, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition. 6.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The Trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the above referred case as per law at the earliest preferably within one year.
