O R D E R

% 19.12.2016 Petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR 853/15 under Sections 354/509 IPC registered at police station Dabri on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably. It has been further brought to the notice of this Court that on the complaint of Smt. Ganga Devi w/o petitioner, a cross FIR 852/15 was registered against Sh. Narender h/o respondent no.2 at police station Dabri. It is submitted that said cross FIR has already been quashed vide today's order passed in Crl. M.C. 4718/16. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement arrived at between her and the petitioner. In these facts, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR 853/15 under Sections 354/509 IPC registered at police station Dabri, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
