% 23.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 10.03.2016 and therefore FIR 225/2011 under Sections 354/34 IPC registered at Police Station Rajouri Garden on the complaint of respondent No. 2 may be quashed. A perusal of the FIR shows that a quarrel took place between the petitioner and the respondent No. 2 on some trivial issue which led to registration of the aforesaid FIR. Respondent No. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Vikram Singh of Police Station

Rajouri Garden.

Respondent No. 2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR 225/2011 under Sections 354/34 IPC registered at Police Station Rajouri Garden consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed.
