% 30.10.2015 CM 25140/2015 By way of this application, the petitioner seeks return of the amount of Rs 30 lacs which was deposited with the Registrar General of this Court pursuant to our order dated 17.07.2015.
The learned counsel for the revenue has taken instructions and submits that the direction may be given for return of the said amount to the petitioner along with any interest which may accrued thereon. The learned counsel for the petitioner also states that he may also be permitted to withdraw the writ petition. We allow this application. The amount of Rs 30 lacs, which was deposited by the petitioner with the Registrar General of this Court, shall be returned to the petitioner along with any interest accrued thereon. The same be done within ten days from today. This application as also the other pending applications stand disposed of. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
