% 04.08.2017 Learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has obtained instructions and the letter dated 3rd August, 2017 has been issued. As per the said letter, the petitioner would be posted with any unit at Lucknow, Allahabad or Gwalior. He may exercise his option and, if there is a vacancy the petitioner would be posted. We may note that this is a last leg posting of the petitioner.

Copy of the said letter dated 3rd August, 2017, titled „diversion of posting‟ has been furnished to the counsel for the petitioner. In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition and states that he will exercise the option within ten days.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
