The petitioner has filed an affidavit dated 3rd April, 2018 (page no.164) and the respondents have filed a status report dated 5th July, 2018 (page no.190). The status report filed by the Municipal Corporation would show that extensive action has been initiated based on the complaints made by the petitioner over 20 properties. The photographs of the demolition action have been filed on record.
2.
In view thereof, the respondents shall ensure that all illegal
and unauthorised construction is removed from the entire area in question. The petitioner shall be at liberty to inform the respondents regarding such illegal and unauthorised construction comes to his notice. The respondents shall positively take action with regard to the same. Needless to say that this order does not absolve the Municipal Corporation from performing its statutory duties and functions under the provisions of Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957.
3.
This petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
