% 20.12.2016 Petitioner is brother-in-law of respondent no.2. On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR 346/2016 under Sections 451/354/354(B)/323 IPC was registered at police station Bawana against the petitioner. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their family members. They have settled the matter vide Compromise Deed dated 16th December, 2016. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ajay Kumar of police station Bawana. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue pressure, force or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that parties are related to each other and matter has been settled, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 does not wish to proceed with the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR 346/2016 under Sections 451/354/354(B)/323 IPC registered at police station Bawana and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
