C.M.No.47058/2018 (for modification of order dt.26.09.2018) 1.
This is an application filed for modification of the order passed on 26th September, 2018 in W.P.(C) No.10198/2018. The petitioner had filed the writ petition in public interest seeking a direction to the respondent/Election Commission of India in the matter of holding of elections to the Lok Sabha and to declare certain candidates disqualified for contesting elections to the Rajya Sabha. Finding no case being made out for interference in exercise of our extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution, we had dismissed the writ petition vide order dated 26th September, 2018. Now by way of this application, the petitioner, in fact, wants review/recall of the entire order.

We have gone through the contents of the application and we find that the grounds raised in the application are not such on the basis of which review/recall can be permitted. Accordingly, there being no error apparent on the face of the record warranting review/recall/modification of the order dated 26th September, 2018, the application stands dismissed. CHIEF JUSTICE V.
