% 09.08.2017 Respondent no.2 (complainant) is present in the Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Vinod Tyagi. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no.
has identified her signatures on compromise/settlement deed dated 30th May, 2017 at point 'X' and admits having received a sum of `30,000/- from petitioner no.1. Petitioner no.1 has handed over the balance payment of `1,20,000/- to respondent no.2 today in court by way of DD bearing No. 002002 dated 10th July,2017 drawn on HDFC Bank.
Respondent no.2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed in terms of the settlement. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 2 and that the fact that respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR
No. 264/2013 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Farsh Bazar, Delhi and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
