% 03.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no.2 (wife) have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts on 6th October, 2016 vide Annexure P-2 and are living together since then.
Petitioner nos. 2 to 7 are the relatives of petitioner no.1.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court with her counsel and has been identified by SI Praveen Kumar of police station Mandawali. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is living in her matrimonial home with her husband after the settlement.
She has no objection in quashing of the FIR.
Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences and the fact that respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 283/16 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Mandawali Fazalpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
