% 18.01.2018 By this petition the petitioner challenges the communication dated 23rd May, 2017 rejecting the first spell of parole to the petitioner as he had surrendered late by 18 days.
It is well settled that furlough is a reward of good conduct and the petitioner surrendered late. There is no illegality in the order of the competent authority declining to grant furlough to the petitioner. Be that as it may, after the rejection of furlough the petitioner has availed the benefit of parole for a period of four weeks pursuant to an order passed by this Court for grant of parole to the petitioner. The petition is dismissed.
