1. On the date when the present petition was listed before this Court on 28th November, 2017 there was another petition being W.P(C) No. 5748/2017 which was also listed in which a similar prayer was made.

2. In that petition, the following order was passed:- "1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners praying inter-alia for directions to the respondents to implement the MSP at uniform rates in respect of the petitioners and for all combatant soldiers of the Armed Forces. Further, the petitioners seeks directions to the respondents to revise their pension by uniform rates of MSP.

2. We may note that a similar petition registered as W.P.(C) No.6607/2017 entitled Voice of Ex-Servicemen Society (Regd.) & Ors. vs.Union of India & Anr. listed as Item No.10 in the today‟s cause list has been disposed of with directions issued to the respondents to consider the representations made

by the petitioners therein and pass a speaking order within eight weeks from today.

3. Having regard to the fact that the relief prayed for in the present petition is also on the same lines, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition on the same lines with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioners which are enclosed as Annexure P-2 and P5 with the present petition and pass a speaking order within eight weeks from today under written intimation to the petitioners. If the grievance of the petitioners still survives, they shall be entitled to seek legal recourse.

4. This petition is disposed of."

3. The Court has also been shown a copy of office memorandum dated 29th December, 2017 of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India rejecting the representations dated 20th August, 2015 and 7th September, 2016 of the two members of the Petitioner‟s association on the issue of „implementation of military services pay at uniform rates‟.

4. Consequently, no further directions are called for as far as the present application is concerned. The application is disposed of.

5. It will be open to the Petitioner, if so advised, to avail any other remedy in accordance with law.
