O R D E R

% 19.12.2016 Petitioners and private respondents, i.e., respondent nos. 2 and 3 are known to each other. A quarrel took place between them resulting registration of FIR 653/2015 under Sections 308/427/452/34 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act against the petitioners at police station Jamia Nagar, on the complaint of respondent nos. 2 and 3. It is alleged in the FIR that petitioner no.2 had given a blow on the head of respondent no. 3 by the butt of a country made pistol.

It is also alleged in the FIR that petitioners gave beatings to the respondent no.2 as well. Injuries received by the respondent nos. 2 and 3 are simple in nature. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes

amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 8th December, 2016. Since parties are known to each other and a quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter and that they have settled the matter amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR 653/2015 under Sections 308/427/452/34 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act registered at police station Jamia Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed, subject to, however, each of the petitioners depositing `10,000/- with the Prime Minister's Relief Fund within four weeks. Receipts be filed in the Registry and a copy whereof be given to the Investigating Officer. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
