% 19.12.2016 Respondent no. 3 is brother-in-law of respondent no.2. Present FIR 922/14 under Sections 354/452/323/341/506/34 IPC was registered against the petitioner, on the complaint of respondent no.2. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are known to each other. A quarrel took place between them wherein respondent no.2 has alleged that petitioners beat her and her brother-in-law, i.e., respondent no.3 resulting simple injuries to them. She also alleged that petitioner no.1 pulled her and touched her chest inappropriately. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled the matter with the petitioners.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and submit that they have settled the matter of their own free will and without any undue

pressure, force or coercion.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 further submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that parties are known to each other and a quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which they have settled amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR 922/14 under Sections 354/452/323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Jamia Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
