After some arguments, Ms Acharya, learned ASG states that it would be apposite if the petitioner's request for approval under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, is considered afresh. She also states, on instructions of Mr Tilak Raj, Under Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, that the petitioner would be accorded a hearing before passing a final order. 2.

This court concurs with the above. It is expected that the respondent shall objectively evaluate the relevant aspects while considering the petitioner's request. The decision afresh would be taken as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks, from today. 3.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. The application is also disposed of.
