O R D E R
% 09.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.723/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Darya Ganj on the complaint of respondent no.2 may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 and 5 are relatives of petitioner no.1.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Sunita, P.S. Darya Ganj. Respondent no.2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and
without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts. Respondent no. 2 submits that her marriage with the petitioner no. 1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 29th May, 2017 passed by the principal Judge, Family Court, Tis Hazari Courts. Respondent no. 2 further admits having already received `15,00,000/- from the petitioner no. 1. Petitioner no. 1 has paid `3,00,000/- to the respondent no. 2 vide a demand draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Keeping in view the fact that marriage of petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has ready been dissolved, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No.723/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Darya Ganj and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
