CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE INDERMEET KAUR

% 02.08.2017 The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of her representations, last of which was filed before the Department on 23.06.2017, yet answer to the same is yet awaited and no reply has been received from the Department on the aforenoted representation. Record shows that the petitioner is in occupation of Flat No. 2, Yashwant Place, Chankaya Puri, New Delhi. Her license was being renewed periodically. It was a five years renewal. The last renewal was effected up to March, 2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that thereafter on 12.05.2015, her premises were sealed. This was without the respondent taking proceedings under the Public Premises Act which was a requirement before any sealing/eviction could have been ordered by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the
petitioner additionally points out that the respondent has quoted a new policy dated 16.06.2017 which as per the petitioner should be made applicable to the petitioner as well. All these form a part of her representation. Her earnest request before this Court is that her representation which is lying pending before the Department should be decided expeditiously.
On advance notice, learned counsel for the respondent has put in appearance. He undertakes and ensures this Court that representation of the petitioner shall be taken up for hearing and decided within an outer limit of three months from today. Petition disposed of in the above terms.
Order dasti under signatures of the Court Master. INDERMEET KAUR, J AUGUST 02, 2017
