By way of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is praying for grant of parole for a period of three months.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has placed on record copy of the application dated 27th July, 2017 seeking parole for a period of three months (Annexure A-1), which has not been disposed of till date.

Learned advocate as above appearing on behalf of the State submits that the application if not disposed of till date, would be disposed of within two weeks from today.

The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the State to dispose of the application within two weeks from the date of this order. 5.
