Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.55/2011 registered under Sections 325/34 IPC at PS Mahendra Park. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2 vide settlement agreement dated 30.08.2016.

Trial Court record perused.

No witness has so far been examined. Charge has been framed under Sections 326/506/34 IPC. Status report reveals that the complainant has criminal antecedents and is involved in various criminal cases i.e. FIR No.464/06 under Section 399/402 IPC & 25 Arms Act at PS Jahangir Puri; FIRs No.91/05, 765/06 & 352/07 under Sections 25/54/59 Arms Act at PS Jahangir Puri.

Petitioner No.1 Vinod @ Bobby is also involved in FIR No.36/07 under Sections 341/354/506/34 IPC at PS Nand Nagri. CRL.M.C. 4886/2016

Complainant / respondent No.2 is present in person and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from the complainant if he has settled the dispute with the petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. He has informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with his free consent and he has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. 4.

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of settlement agreement dated 30.08.2016 has been placed on record. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.55/2011 registered under Sections 325/34 IPC at PS Mahendra Park and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 5.

The petitioners are directed to deposit ` 25,000/- as costs in the Prime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. Registry shall ensure its compliance.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
