Counter-affidavit is said to be filed with delay of 2 days.

Petitioners have already filed their rejoinder-affidavit to the counteraffidavit of respondent nos. 2 and 3. The delay of two days in filing the counter-affidavit is condoned.

Original of the counter-affidavit of respondent nos. 2 and 3 and the rejoinder-affidavit of the petitioner is not on record. Counsels however

give photocopies of the same to the Court and state that originals of the same will be got placed on record within two days from today. Ordered accordingly.

After arguments, this writ petition is not pressed inasmuch respondent nos. 2 and 3 in their counter-affidavit have stated that contractual employees such as the petitioners are not being replaced by another contractual employees, and in fact respondent nos. 2 and 3 will only employ persons by regular recruitment. Counsel for respondent nos. 2 and 3 states that within a period of six months from today, recruitment rules will be framed and relevant recruitments will take place by the respondent nos. 2 and 3 for the posts of Constable (Enforcement). 4.

In view of the above, while disposing of this writ petition as not pressed, liberty is given to the petitioners to seek employment in terms of relevant recruitment process, which will be initiated by respondent nos. 2 and 3 to the posts of Constable (Enforcement) or any other posts to which the petitioners may be eligible.

The writ petition is disposed of as not pressed with the aforesaid liberty.
