ORDER

% 09.08.2017 By these petitions, petitioners (accused persons) have prayed for quashing of the following cross FIRs:- (a) FIR No. 303/2017 under Sections 452/323/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jafrabad on the complaint of Abdul Rehman @ Rehman Khan, respondent no. 2 in Cr1. M.C. No. 3080/20 17; and (b) FIR No. 305/2017 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jafrabad on the complaint of Mohd. Taslim, respondent no. 2 in Cr!. M.C. No. 3074/20 17.

It is submitted that complainants/injured persons and accused persons are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue, which resulted in registration of the aforesaid FIRs. Accused persons and complainants/injured persons have now settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their common friends and family members; therefore, complainants/injured persons are not willing to pursue their respective FIRs. Mohd. Taslim, Fejan, Toshif, Arif, Mohd.Yamin, Abdul Rehman Rehman Khan, Lasim @ Lashim Khan, complainants/injured persons are

present in Court along with their respective counsels and have been identified by ASI Chatarpal Singh, P.S. Jafrabad. They submit that they have settled the matter with the accused persons of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and are not willing to pursue the FIR's any further.

Keeping in view of the fact that a quarrel took place between the neighbours, which resulted in the incident, which led to registration of the aforesaid FIRs and now, they have settled their disputes amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 303/2017 under Sections 452/323/506/34 IPC and FIR No. 305/2017 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC, both registered at Police Station Jafrabad and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Both the Petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. J.
