The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in wrongly issuing a Pension Payment Order on 18.01.2017, based on the pay on the post of Dy. Commandant, without fixing his pay on the post of 2-In-Command that he had joined w.e.f. 28.11.2016. It is further stated that even the computation amount, DCRG, leave encashment and other retiral benefits payable on his superannuating on 31.12.2016, have been released to the petitioner by treating him as a Dy. Commandant instead of 2-In-Command.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that his client has submitted several representations to the respondents raising the aforesaid grievance, the last one dated 06.07.2018, but to no avail. W.P.(C) 10305/2018

In view of the limited relief prayed for in this petition, it is deemed appropriate to dispose it of at the stage of admission itself with directions issued to the respondents to examine the grievance raised by the petitioner in his representations dated 05.02.2018 and 06.07.2018 and redress the same by passing a speaking order within four weeks from today. 4.
If the grievance of the petitioner is found to be justified, then apart from refixing his pension by issuing a fresh P.P.O., the arrears payable to him shall also be released, within four weeks from the date of passing the speaking order.
