% 04.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 2nd February, 2017; therefore, FIR No. 144/2016 under Section 354 IPC registered at Police Station Greater Kailash on the complaint of respondent no. 2 may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Vikram, P.S. Greater Kailash. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free

will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. During the course of hearing, it is informed that petitioner and respondent no. 2 were friends. It is submitted that the FIR was registered due to some misunderstanding. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as narrated above and the fact that settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 144/2016 under Section 354 IPC registered at Police Station Greater Kailash and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
