The present is an application filed on behalf of respondent no.3 for revival of the present proceedings. It is submitted that the present petition had been filed by the petitioner for non-compliance of the Judgment dated August, 2016 passed by the learned Division Bench in LPA No. th 554/2014.

The Judgment dated 24 University of Delhi by filing a Special Leave Petition before Supreme Court, being SLP No. 13901/2017. Thus, vide order dated 13th September, 2017, the present matter had been adjourned sine die. 3.

Commission ("UGC") submits that subsequently the Supreme Court by its common Judgment dated 10th May, 2022 has finally decided the issue.

It is submitted that in compliance of the judgment of the Supreme Court, the respondent no.3-UGC has already released the arrears due and payable. Thus, it is submitted that no further compliance is required to be done on behalf of the respondents. Thus, revival of the present petition is prayed for in order to take on record the compliance of the respondents in terms of judgment of the Supreme Court.

Considering the submissions made in the present application, the present application is allowed and the present contempt petition is taken up for hearing.

The application is disposed of.

Considering the fact that the UGC has already complied with the th judgment dated 10 May, 2022 passed by the Supreme Court and has released the requisite amounts to the petitioner, the present contempt petition is disposed of as having been satisfied, along with the pending application.
