The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning an order dated 11.07.2017, passed by the Central Information Commission (CIC). The said order was passed by the CIC relying on an earlier order dated 17.05.2017 (passed in CIC/EPFOG/A/2017/311679).

By a separate order passed in W.P. (C) 5220/2017), the said order dated 17.05.2017 has been set aside. Thus, for the reasons stated in the order passed by this court in W.P. (C) 5220/2017, the impugned order is also set aside and the matter is remanded to CIC to consider afresh and pass an order within a period of eight weeks from today.
