W.P.(C) 6709/2017 & C.M.No.27959/2017 The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of his representation lying pending before the respondent since April, 2017, he has received no response. His contention is that he is the successful bidder of a shop which has been allotted i.e. shop No.1, Shankar Market and possession thereof has been given to him in the year 2009. His representation to the respondent is to the effect that his license fee should be fixed as per the actual area of the shop. On advance notice, learned counsel for the respondents has put in appearance. Her submission is that as per her instructions, the petitioner is not entitled to any deduction as the shop had been

allotted to the petitioner on „as is where basis‟. Be that as it may, this Court is not going into the merits of the case. The representation of the petitioner be answered by the NDMC/respondents within an outer limit of four months from today. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the averments made in the petition be treated as his additional representation to the Department. Ordered accordingly. Petition disposed of.
