The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in FIR No. 173 of 2016 under Sections 498A/509 of IPC Police Station Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi and subsequently Sections 377/354/323/34 of IPC have been added.

It is contended by learned counsel for the parties that settlement has been arrived at between the parties and settlement agreement dated 02.01.2018 has been executed at Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre. Settlement agreement is placed on record. Parties are present in person. They confirm the settlement. Interim protection was granted to petitioner on 04.08.2017.

In view of the fact that settlement has been arrived at between BAIL APPLN. 1512/2017
the parties and respondent confirms the same and further the fact that parties are taking steps in furtherance to the settlement, it would be just and expedient to admit petitioner to anticipatory bail. 4.
Accordingly, in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail on his furnishing a bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned IO/SHO. The petitioner shall join the investigation as and when required by the IO.

The petition is accordingly disposed of in the above terms. 6.
