This is an application filed by the petitioner for early hearing of the writ petition.

For the reasons stated, and with the consent of learned counsel for respondent No. 3 - Modern Child Public School ["School"], the application is allowed and the writ petition is taken on Board. W.P.(C) 10319/2018 and CM APPL No. 76107/2024 (for amendment in prayer in the writ petition) 3.

arrears of salary, and earned leave.

During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had also filed an application [CM APPL No. 76107/2024] for amendment of the writ petition, to add a relief with regard to payment of arrears of House Rent Allowance, amounting to Rs. 5,58,700/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent No. 3 - School submit, upon instructions from their respective clients, that all the petitioner's dues may be settled upon a lump sum payment of Rs. 27 lakhs by the School to the petitioner. The payment would be made in two equal instalments, the first to be paid within four weeks from today, and the second to be paid within four weeks thereafter. The petitioner is also present on video conference and confirms that this settlement is acceptable to her.

In view of the above, CM APPL. No. 76107/2024 is allowed, and the petitioner is permitted to raise the claim for House Rent Allowance in this writ petition.

As the disputes have been settled between the parties, the filing of the amended writ petition and pleadings therein are dispensed with. 8.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of, with the direction that respondent No. 3 will pay the sum of Rs. 27 lakhs to the petitioner in two equal instalments, on or before 12.08.2025 and 09.09.2025, respectively.

It is made clear that this is a full and final settlement of all the petitioner's claims, and no further claim survives in respect of the petitioner's service with the School.

directed to file affidavits within one week from today, accepting the settlement on the aforesaid terms. Copies of the affidavits filed will be served upon opposite counsel as well.
