By this petition, the petitioner seeks protection from his son Nitin Kapoor, respondent No.5 herein.

The grievance of the petitioner is that his son Nitin Kapoor has fallen in bad company and due to this, he has been threatening him and his family members and extorting money. Thus, he has debarred Nitin Kapoor from his movable and immovable properties.

A Status Report has been filed by the State. As per the Status Report, on the complaint dated 2nd August, 2017 of the petitioner, Nitin Kapoor has been bound down under Section 107/150 Cr.P.C.. SI Sandeep Malik, who is present in Court, states that the mobile phone numbers of the SHO and beat Staff, PS Dwarka North have been given to the petitioner. W.P.(CRL) 2244/2017

Petitioner, who is present in Court and is identified by learned counsel and the Investigating Officer, is satisfied by the efforts made by the State and submits that in case he requires any assistance, he would contact the concerned SHO or the beat staff.

With the relief already provided to the petitioner, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
