Mr. Sameer Rohatgi, learned counsel for the Petitioners fairly and candidly submits that at the time when this writ petition was filed, the license in respect of Shop No.29, Main Market, Lodhi Road, was subsisting and valid and therefore writ of mandamus was sought to NDMC to release the approved sanction plan for additional construction of the said premises in light of permission granted by Delhi Urban Arts Commission and <no objection= by Delhi Fire Service, Government of NCT of Delhi, however, in the interregnum, since the license has expired, Petitioners do not press the present writ petition at this stage. Liberty be granted to the Petitioners to take recourse to appropriate legal remedies after NDMC takes a policy decision with respect to the licenses of the shops in Lodhi Market including W.P.(C) 6758/2017 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
