The petitioner had made a complaint, inter alia, regarding the medical negligence in the treatment of his wife, Ms Ish Chopra (since deceased). The petitioner's grievance is that the said complaint was made to the Medical Council of India and was subsequently, forwarded to the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). The petitioner's grievance, essentially, is that the said complaint has not been proceeded with and the DMC has also not taken the relevant documents on record.

In view of the above statement, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. Needless to state that the petitioner would be at liberty to file all such documents, that the petitioner seeks to rely on, with the DMC and such documents would be considered by the Disciplinary Committee of the DMC.

It is also expected that the proceedings would be concluded as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today.
