% 12.09.2017 The matter is listed today for consideration. On the last date of hearing, statements of the parties regarding settlement have been recorded and the petitioners were burdened with costs of Rs.5000/- each to be deposited with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee. Cost of Rs.5000/- each deposited. Receipts of costs are taken on record. In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences voluntarily and out of their own free will and without any coercion, pressure, and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings. It would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No. 287/2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 419/420/468/471/120-B IPC registered at Police Station-Kalkaji, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed. The petition is disposed of.
