% 11.08.2017 The grievance of the petitioner is that Revision Petition preferred by him on 23.01.2017 has not been decided by the Inspector-General, Central Industrial Security Force.

The petitioner in the said Revision Petition has challenged the orders dated 06.08.2015, 17.11.2015 and 22.01.2016. The petitioner has been awarded penalty of reduction of one stage for a period of one year, with immediate effect, without adversely affecting his pension. Learned counsel for the respondent states that the revision petition is maintainable and is pending.

In view of the said position, we dispose of this writ petition with direction to the competent authority to decide the revision petition within two months from the date a copy of this order is received. In

case the petitioner is aggrieved, he would be at liberty to challenge the order in accordance with law. We clarify that we have not expressed any opinion.
