O R D E R

% 20.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) have settled their disputes amicably and are living together for the last about four years.

Petitioner no. 2 to 6 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Prem Raj, P.S. Vijay Vihar. Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Respondent no. 2 further submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no. 1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

Keeping in mind the fact that husband and wife have resolved their

differences and have started living together, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 289/2012 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Vijay Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
