% 08.08.2017 By these petitions, accused persons and complainants have prayed for quashing of following two cross-FIRs:- a) FIR No. 132/2012 under Sections 323/354 IPC registered at police station Tilak Nagar on the complaint of Ms. Sonia Chawla (respondent no.2 in Cr1. M.C. 3063/2017) By:AMULYA
Si and b) FIR No. 133/2012 under Sections 323/324/34 IPC registered at police station Tilak Nagar on the complaint of Ms. Kavita Chawla (respondent no.2 in Cr1. M.C. 3064/2017.
It is submitted that accused persons and complainants, in both the FIRs, are related to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some -y trivial matter which had led to the registration of above-mentioned cross FIRs. It is further submitted that with the intervention of their elders and common friends, complainants and accused persons have settled their disputes amicably and are not willing to pursue their respective FIRs, therefore, both the above-mentioned FIRs may be quashed. Ms. Sonia Chawla and Ms. Kavita Chawla (both complainants) are present in Court and have been identified by SI Sunil Chandra of police station Tilak Nagar. They submit that they have settled their disputes with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and are not willing to pursue their FIRs any further.
Keeping in mind that a quarrel took place between the relatives which had led to registration of cross FIRs and that the matter has been amicably settled between them, inasmuch as, complainants do not wish to pursue their FIRs any further, in the interest of justice, both the above-noted FIRs and the
consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
