O R D E R

% 12.01.2017 On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR 217/2013 under Section 354-D IPC was registered at police station Farsh Bazar. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent no.2 have resolved their disputes amicably and the fact that respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR 217/2013 under Section 354-D IPC registered at police station Farsh Bazar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
