HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 06.01.2017 Petitioner has assailed the order dated 15th November, 2016 passed by the respondent whereby his application for grant of parole has been rejected. In the said application, petitioner had prayed for grant of parole on the ground of taking care of his old and ailing mother and also for reestablishing social ties with the family and society. Petitioner's application has been rejected in the absence of requisite police verification regarding address and grounds taken by him.
It is noted here that after the impugned order was passed, petitioner has already been released on furlough for three weeks and has surrendered on 23rd December, 2016. Accordingly, no case is made out for his release on parole at this stage.
Writ petition is dismissed.
