Pappu v. State
$~115.
* IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(CRL) 48/2017 PAPPU ..... Petitioner Through:
Mr. Puneett Singhal, Advocate.
versus STATE ..... Respondent Through:
Mr. Avi Singh, ASC along with SI Sandeep Kumar, PS-S.B. Dairy, for the State.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIPIN SANGHI
O R D E R
% 06.01.2017 The petitioner seeks parole. His application for parole has been declined by the State vide order dated 31.08.2016. He seeks parole so as to re-establish social ties with his family members and the society. The petitioner is convicted of the heinous offence of rape of his own minor daughter. His wife has also stated that his behaviour is not good towards the family and the family has no control over him. Obviously the grant of parole to the petitioner would have an adverse impact on the victim and other family members of the petitioner.
In these circumstances, I am not inclined to grant parole to the petitioner. Dismissed.
